Some more myths and the truth about anal sex | Apr 26, 2007 |

Almost all men dream of anal sex whereas many women claim that they will never try this “awful”, “dirty” and “painful” activity. There are plenty of myths about this kind of sex: someone speaks about “incredible enjoyment” whereas others associate anal sex only with pain and fear. Who is right? Where is the truth?
Myth 1. Only men like anal sex
The truth. According to the statistics, anal sex is regularly practiced by every fifth American couple, and a half of couples enjoy it from time to time. Will women do anything that does not give them even the slightest pleasure? Of course, they won't.
The fact that many women enjoy anal sex has a scientific explanation. First of all, anal sex implies stimulation of anus that has a great deal of sensitive nerve endings. Secondly, anal intercourse provides stimulation of the G-spot through the wall that separates the anus and the vagina. Thirdly, the very thought that you together with your partner are doing something “sinful” and “forbidden” is very arousing.
Many women even say that anal sex gives them even more pleasure than vaginal. According to sexologists, anal sex can be enjoyable for one in three women. Your chance to find anal sex exciting is quite high! At least it is worth trying.
Myth 2.Any woman will like anal sex if she gets rid of fears
The truth. Many women do not find anal sex enjoyable, even the most open-minded ones. What is more, some women are even contraindicated to practice this kind of sex. This is not because of fears. Any person who has or ever had such troubles as piles, anal fissures or polypus, should refuse any anal stimulation, no matter whether it is anal intercourse, or play with anal toys like butt plugs or anal stimulator. This will lead to nothing but pain and complications.
One more regularity was revealed by doctors: as a rule anal sex seems enjoyable to women with extra weight. Here again there are exceptions. So the fact that you are as skinny as Kate Moss does not mean that you will not enjoy anal sex!
Of course, the size of the partner's penis should be taken into account. Big manhood is a disadvantage for any anal sex lover, as the woman is sure to find anal intercourse painful in this case. Anal sex is just the case when a man with big penis can be jealous of a man who does not have so big treasure.
Myth 3. Anal sex cannot cause pregnancy
The truth. There are many ways to get satisfaction from sex without any risk of getting pregnant. For some reason many people think that anal sex belongs to the list of “safe” sex activities. This is not true. There are many victims of this popular myth. Anus is placed close to vaginal opening and sperm can easily get into the vagina. Of course, anal sex does not cause pregnancy as often as vaginal, but this should not make you think that it is absolutely safe. Do use condoms!
